**IKAA Mini-Gathering NYC Participants will now receive an even MORE discounted rate at the Hotel Pennsylvania**
Those of you who have already made reservations using the attendee code "IKAA" will automatically receive the newly discounted rates.
An even better nightly rate has been arranged at the Hotel Pennsylvania, centrally located in Manhattan and located only two blocks from New York’s Koreatown.
Rates are now as follows:
$179 $149/night for 1 Full Bed (1-2 People)
$209 $174/night for 2 Full Beds (3-4 People)
Taxes: 13.625% sales tax + $2.00 per room, per night occupancy tax + $1.50 per room, per night hotel unit tax.
For those of you planning on making a longer vacation out of this trip, rates will be available from Thursday, April 9 – Wednesday, April 22, 2009 (7 days prior and 3 days following the Mini-Gathering).
We know that these hotel rates are higher than for other Mini-Gatherings, however they’re extremely reasonable for New York City. After contacting over 100 hotels, these were the best rates that could be negotiated for such a large group.

To ensure that you receive the reduced group rate, you MUST enter “IKAA” in the Attendee Code box.
Note 1: EVENT DATES: We have secured the group rates for 7 days prior and 3 days following the IKAA Mini-Gathering New York. In order for the system to accommodate this exceptionally long grace period, the event dates listed on the Hotel Pennsylvania Online Reservations Website DO NOT correspond with the actual event dates (April 16-19, 2009).
Note 2: ROOMS FOR 3-4 PEOPLE: When it asks you to “Select the Number of Adults”, just choose “2”. There was an issue altering this option in the system to reflect the accurate number of occupants, but YOU CAN STILL STAY 3-4 IN A ROOM.
Roommate Requests
Those looking for roommates to share the cost of the room can leave a message on the wall of our Facebook event page (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=14442722142). Please contact individuals directly by sending a private message to the original poster. We would like to ask that you simplify this process by deleting your request once you have found your roommate(s).
**These discounted rates will only be available until March 26, 2009. After this date, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the discounted room rates and you must contact the hotel directly to try to negotiate your rate.
